Abstract
One of the key issues in tunnel construction in Ho Chi Minh City is the prediction of ground surface deformations. In recent years, numerical methods have been widely adopted in the analysis of underground structures, as they enable the consideration of complex and heterogeneous ground conditions. However, the accuracy of the results largely depends on the selection of the constitutive soil model and the ground loss coefficient, whose physical meaning is the gap between the excavation cross-sectional area and the tunnel lining cross-sectional area. This paper considers two of the most commonly used soil models implemented in the PLAXIS 3D software package: the Mohr–Coulomb model and the Hardening Soil model. A comparison of the above-mentioned soil models was carried out using the example of the running tunnel of Metro Line No. 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, constructed by the shield tunnelling method (chainage PK 0+920). The strength and deformation properties of the ground were adopted based on the data obtained from an engineering geological borehole at the construction site. The soils are characterized by low bearing capacity, high porosity and full water saturation. Numerical analyses were performed to refine the ground loss ratio for shield tunnelling under the engineering geological conditions of Ho Chi Minh City, which varies from 0.6 to 1.2% in a three-dimensional numerical model. The calculations were aimed at evaluating the deformation of a historical building located on the ground surface using both soil models and comparing the results with field monitoring data obtained during construction. The study demonstrated that the Mohr–Coulomb model provides a more accurate prediction of building settlement at a ground loss ratio of VL = 0.9%.

Abstract
The large-scale modernization of the road network of the Russian Federation, envisaged by the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” is associated with an increase in the volume of construction, repair, and reconstruction works. This leads to temporary changes in traffic management schemes and an elevated risk of road traffic accidents. The article addresses the pressing issue of ensuring passive safety in road work zones. A comparative analysis was conducted between Russian (GOST R 58350, ODM 218.6.019–2016) and leading international (EN 1317, AASHTO MASH) regulatory approaches to the design of temporary road barriers. Significant gaps in the domestic regulatory framework were identified, particularly the absence of requirements for the minimum length of temporary parapet-type barriers, which raises concerns about their effectiveness under real operating conditions. Using a validated finite element model in the LS-DYNA software package, a parametric study was performed to assess the influence of barrier length on its key performance characteristics. For the first time in this class of problems, in addition to containment capacity and dynamic deflection, driver and passenger injury risk indicators were analyzed. A nonlinear relationship between barrier length and its deformability was established. Based on the results obtained, scientifically grounded recommendations were developed for determining the minimum required barrier length, considering speed conditions and road environment. Solutions for the safe design of the initial and terminal sections of barriers are also proposed.

Abstract
The quality of mechanical machining of parts made from polymer composite materials (PCM) is one of the key factors determining their strength and durability. Even minor defects arising during machining can lead to a significant reduction in operational characteristics and premature structural failure. Therefore, the selection of technological parameters and cutting tools for the machining of composite machine parts should be based on the results of a comprehensive study that takes into account the structural, physical-mechanical, and thermophysical properties of the PCM components. The influence of the type of reinforcing fibers in polymer composite materials (glass, carbon, basalt) and the structural properties of woven fillers (density, thickness, weave type) on the quality of milling composite parts made from them is considered. A comparative analysis of the mechanisms of destruction of fibers of various types under the influence of the cutting edge of the tool was carried out. It is shown that differences in the quality of the machined surface are directly determined by the microstructure of the fibers and their thermal conductivity. Particular attention is given to the effect of the weaving pattern of the reinforcing fabric (plain and twill) and its surface density on the microhardness of the composite and structural stability during cutting. Understanding these interrelations is fundamental for optimizing technological regimes and tool selection to ensure high surface quality of PCM parts.

Abstract
A key technological process in the production of polymer composite materials involves repeated mixing at various stages of preparing the constituent components of the resulting high-molecular-weight composite–whether in the form of a solution, emulsion, suspension, dispersion, melt, or otherwise. The application of ultrasonic vibrations is the most effective method for intensifying this mixing process. Ultrasonic vibrations are generated within the liquid processing volume using a magnetostrictive transducer soldered to a waveguide, coupled with a radiator that is typically attached to the waveguide via a threaded connection. This study examines the technological effectiveness of ultrasonic component mixing based on the acoustic and technological parameters of the ultrasonic field within the liquid. These parameters include the oscillation frequency, the displacement amplitude of the radiator's working face, the scale of acoustic flows within the treated liquid, and the spatial arrangement of the ultrasonic radiators within the processing volume. The effectiveness of using ultrasound in the production of polymer composite materials was evaluated based on the erosive activity of the cavitation zone and the magnitude of the acoustic flows.

Abstract
The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the dynamic properties of single-track vehicles (STV) with an emphasis on controllability and stability. The article considers the features of STV controllability and stability, as well as options for experimental and theoretical determination of the indicators. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of critical modes of STV movement under various operating conditions. The results of theoretical studies of the influence of various STV design parameters on controllability and stability are presented, such as: mass distribution, characteristics of tires and assembled wheels, etc. The prospects for experimental determination of wheel adhesion parameters to the road surface under various driving conditions on a drum test rig are considered. A promising method for conducting STV stability and controllability studies is considered: a computational and experimental one. The initial data in the considered method will be obtained through road tests and STV tire tests on a rig with a rolling drum. All obtained data will be integrated into a virtual STV model, and extended computational studies of the STV movement parameters in critical modes will be carried out. A rig for testing STV tires with the ability to roll at various angles in the vertical and horizontal planes and under various driving modes is being developed jointly by Irkutsk National Research Technical University and Siberian State Automobile and Road Construction Institute (SibADI) for the first time in Russia. The project is aimed at researchers in the field of transport dynamics, STV designers, and safety system developers.

Abstract
The paper examines the influence of the power distribution law between the fuel cell and traction battery on the evaluation of different hydrogen vehicle power plant configurations. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that fuel cell power, traction battery capacity and the mass of stored hydrogen cannot be evaluated independently of the control algorithm. Power distribution between energy sources affects hydrogen consumption, battery state of charge, regenerative braking capability and feasibility of the selected configuration. The purpose of the study is to justify the use of dynamic programming as a computational tool that provides a correct comparison of different power plant configurations on a given route. The main groups of energy management strategies are considered: rule-based strategies, optimization-based methods, machine learning methods and strategies using intelligent transport infrastructure data. Requirements for the control method are formulated from the standpoint of component sizing: maintaining the initial battery state of charge at the end of the route, taking into account fuel cell power limits and battery current limits, and avoiding repeated tuning when power plant parameters are changed. It is shown that dynamic programming meets these requirements and can be used as a reference offline method for forming the control law when selecting rational parameters of a hydrogen power plant.

Abstract
Trajectory planning is a key technology for ensuring the autonomous movement of ground mobile robots as a class of ground transport-technological vehicles. The evolution of methods ‒ from geometric and rule-based approaches to optimization-based solutions and the integration of machine learning methods ‒ has led to an exponential growth in the number of publications, as a result of which traditional narrative reviews are no longer sufficient to systematically reflect the structure and dynamics of this research field. In this study, a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the literature on trajectory planning was conducted based on the WoS database in order to identify the key directions and major development trends in this field. The results of the quantitative analysis and visualization show that this research area has developed particularly intensively over the past five years. It was found that ETH Zurich is the leading research center in this field, while RA-L and T-RO are the main publication venues. An evolution of the research agenda was identified: from problems involving kinematic constraints to online trajectory planning and optimization, and then to close integration with motion control systems. Among the most topical directions, predictive control and consideration of quadruped robot dynamics were highlighted. The use of visualization methods and knowledge graphs made it possible to reveal the internal structure of the research field, identify current scientific trends and establish a methodological basis for further studies in the field of motion planning for ground transport-technological robotic systems.

Abstract
A methodology is proposed for determining the rational location of a regional distribution center (DC) in a two-level cargo delivery system by road transport. Unlike classical approaches that minimize distance or transportation costs, the optimality criterion adopted is the minimum total delivery time, including travel time and dwell time at loading and unloading points. The methodology includes two stages: at the first stage, the coordinates of the temporary center of gravity are determined, followed by the formation of ring routes with backhauls using the method of fictitious nodes and branches (FNB) under constraints on vehicle capacity and the number of stops; at the second stage, the location of the distribution center is refined by sequentially checking the nearest nodes of the transport network. To improve the accuracy of calculations, piecewise linear approximation of routes is applied. The functionality of the methodology is demonstrated using a numerical example.

Abstract
The article considers the problem of road transport routing with restrictions on the number of points per route and vehicle load capacity. The solution is based on Bellman’s dynamic programming method. An improved technique is proposed, which introduces dummy nodes and branches into the transport graph to model repeated visits to vertices. Unlike the classical traveling salesman problem requiring a Hamiltonian cycle, this approach allows multiple node visits, more accurately reflecting real delivery processes. Numerical verification is performed on a five-node transport network. The proposed modification yields a total route length of 39,3 km, which is 3,5 km less than the branch-and-bound method. Two optimal circular routes are constructed, including a return to an intermediate node via a dummy vertex. The results confirm the effectiveness of the enhanced dynamic programming method for routing problems with point and capacity constraints.

Abstract
A retrospective analysis of the results of several research studies devoted to the problems of assembly and disassembly of threaded connections used in automotive and agricultural engineering. The analysis revealed that the problems under consideration can be divided into three groups: assembly problems related to the material used, assembly problems related to the connection design, and disassembly problems. It has been established that researchers most frequently cite uneven load distribution along the threads, the occurrence of self-unscrewing, and surface corrosion as the main problems with threaded connections. The paper examines current solutions to the identified problems, which can be divided into three areas: the introduction of a third body; design modifications during the design and manufacturing stages; and the use of improved assembly and disassembly processes, along with the application of impacts on automotive fasteners. The main shortcomings of the proposed methods for solving assembly and disassembly problems are identified. It has been established that most work in this area focuses on specific problem-solving methods, often neglecting to consider combinations of these methods. It has been proven that one of the promising methods for solving the described problems of using fasteners in the mechanical engineering is the use of ultrasonic vibrations at the stages of assembly and disassembly, which solves most of the problems considered.

Analysis of Charging Infrastructure Formation Processes for an Electric Bus Fleet in a Megacity
Author:
I. A. Fenkov – First Deputy General Director of the Moscow State Public Institution «Organizer of Transportation», Moscow; applicant for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, MADI, Moscow
Abstract
The article presents a systemic analysis of the methodology for planning and developing the charging infrastructure required for transitioning urban passenger transport to electric traction in a megacity. The study examines the management principles of this process, assesses the long-term balance between the growth of the electric bus fleet and the network of ultra-fast charging stations (UFCS), and develops a methodological approach to substantiating charging infrastructure parameters. The objectives include: analyzing the dynamics of the adaptively managed "electric bus/UFCS" ratio; identifying architectural and logistical principles of a two-level network; constructing an objective function based on the criteria of reliability, cost efficiency and environmental friendliness, subject to available electric power constraints; and defining the assumptions and limitations of the approach for the approved horizon up to 2030 and in a scenario-based setting up to 2050. The workability of the approach is confirmed by a computational verification of the approved network development program. The identified principles – dynamic balance, hierarchical network architecture, institutional integration mechanisms and strategic redundancy – combined with the proposed model form a foundation applicable to other large urban agglomerations.

Abstract
The cargo capacity utilization coefficient is one of the technical and operational performance indicators of road freight transport and indirectly determines the cost of transportation; however, for urban small-consignment delivery its empirical estimates on representative datasets are unavailable, and the fleet body-type structure is assigned without a quantitative link to the volume-and-mass characteristics of the freight flow. The aim of the work is to develop a method for assessing rolling stock cargo capacity utilization and assigning loading standards, as well as a procedure for substantiating the fleet structure by body capacity. The method is based on the quantiles of the empirical distribution of the cargo capacity utilization coefficient; it is verified on an open dataset of the actual execution of 6,112 delivery routes in five metropolitan areas (1.46 million cargo items with known dimensions); the differentiation of the indicator is examined by body type, metropolitan area, terminal and number of consignees using Spearman’s rank correlation. The median value of the coefficient is found to be 0.74 (quantiles P10 = 0,55; P90 = 0,95); 9.9 % of the trips are performed with a load above 0.95; the coefficient increases with the number of consignees per route; the between-terminal difference in the share of trips with a limiting load reaches twelvefold; no association between the indicator and route execution quality is found. The obtained standards support the assignment of a target loading range, the selection of the body type by the specific volume of cargo items, and the targeted redistribution of rolling stock between terminals with a cargo capacity deficit.

Abstract
The article provides an analysis of the proposed objective function, which depends on the efficiency of a mixed-flow vehicle complex, the efficiency of the most automated driving system (ADS) of a highly automated vehicle (HAVs) and the efficiency of the road infrastructure itself. All these subfunctions are necessary to maximize the positive effects of the introduction of HAVs, since the developed modeling methodology will make it possible to evaluate measures and optimize the operation of the transport complex in a mixed flow with the growth and impact of HAVs, without significant investment losses. A modeling chain is described in which three levels of detail interact – nanoscopic, microscopic, and macroscopic. The parameters necessary for the simulation of HAVs at all levels have been determined. Among other things, the metrics that need to be obtained during experiments with functioning HAVs are described in order to accurately simulate its movement and test the proposed solutions when changing the design of streets and roads in cities. This combination of levels will make it possible to evaluate the implementation not only at a specific intersection, but also throughout the entire territory of the city in question.
