Regulation of a convergence of operated wheels of the vehicle in the course of movement when braking

Abstract. The authors got the expressions, which consider the inertness of the elements of the system of continuous control of the convergence of the controlled wheels of motor transport means in the process of motion when braking, which use with tuning of system makes it possible to increase the accuracy of regulation.

Technical procuring of car tests and research works

Abstract. In this Article are considered the questions about the main methods of preparation and performing of inertial, bumping and another kind of car test for evaluation passive safety. Article shows classification of tests depending on purposes, methods, equipment and tools. It describes the main difficulties in performing of tests and ways of its solutions. There is description of the most common design solutions of stands, tools and the methods of measurement for passive safety tests. Questions about characteristics of stands, advantages and disadvantages, brief history of tests methods are also considered in this article.

Application of Combined Technique of Thermo-Chemical Treatment for Surface Strengthening of Steel Parts of Hybrid Motor Car

Abstract. For surface strengthening of steel parts of a motor car “Formula-Hybrid MADI” a method of combined thermo-chemical treatment is used consisting of diffusion saturation by chromium and nickel from suspensions in two-stage nitriding. As a result of the treatment composite coatings are formed at the surface of items with outer carbide-nitride zone and internal nitriding zone, which have increased hardness, wear resistance, fatigue limit, corrosion resistance. Experimental tests of treated parts of a hybrid car have shown that their service life increases in 3,5…4 times.

Modeling of intermodal freight transportation on the basis of managed networks

Abstract. Quality of transport communications is an essential condition of economic growth. In this article the problem of modeling of freight traffics in system of intermodal transportations is solved. Classification of objects of container infrastructure which gives parameterization of the offered model of system of mass service is executed. This model is aimed at solving the task of converting a random stream of small parties of freights in a random stream container turnover. For the general scheme of modeling of freight traffics use of the theory of operated networks which promotes the solution of a task of the rational organization of intermodal transportations is offered.

Mathematical description of seasonal moisture accumulation in the subgrade soil for prediction of defects pavements

Abstract. The article describes a new method of mathematical description of the process of the annual changes in moisture content in the top of the subgrade of roads suitable for fairly simple and accurate determination of parameters characterizing the operation of road pavements. Above approach is particularly useful when incomplete information about the process and the ability to simulate of moisture accumulation in different moisture conditions to assess their impact on the operation of road pavements and contribute to the improvement of their design methodology.
