Abstract. The paper deals with dialogues, debates, role plays, video materials, presentations and web-sites as interactive forms of teaching for realizing learner-centered approach to teaching English to students of non-linguistic universities. The authors suggest using dialogues, debates, role plays, presentations, video materials and web-site materials as current and effective methods of teaching English language.

Abstract. Vehicle's Identification by the state license plate doesn't provide information data about the vehicle which wasn't previously entered to the databases, and their low protections against intentional distortion. Technical vehicle's operation needs automatic identification by the VIN and should provide data volume about vehicle. Radio-frequency multi-stage reading which involve the vehicle local area network is most applicable for it.
The suitable suggestion is to use the integrated vehicle's identifier and the attached data’s package about the configuration and vehicle's operation history, the application of which will provide the prerequisites for the organization of new services for intelligent transportation systems for operation.

Abstract. The article shows the strategies of issue and service of cars in Russia, examples of open full-featured dealerships for the sale and maintenance of vehicles are given, the program of modernization of a motor-vehicle pool of Moscow is described, shows the development of logistics centres and investment projects aimed at the implementation of the policy of import substitution in the transport region. The results of the influence of economic and trade sanctions on the development of import substitution in Russia in the transport sector are presented.

Abstract. In the paper methods of increase of wear resistance of carbon steels are observed, consisting in combined diffusion surface alloying by metals and nitriding. It is shown that wear resistance of steels depends on the phase composition of modified surface layer; that is determined by the type of alloying elements and by composition of saturating compound during usage of slicker method of deposition. It is found that the highest wear resistance of a layer can be achieved at nitriding of layers alloyed simultaneously by titanium and aluminum.

Abstract. In surveys of airdrome, besides a visual inspection of elements of the airdrome pavements for the detection of defects and damage, the task of determination of their bearing abilities by the international practice of indicating (ACN - PCN method). According to the obtained results of the tests given to the experimental evaluation of the possibility of basing aircraft and their modes of operation on the airdrome with rigid pavements. One way of carrying out the research work pavements are test of stamp. Transfer of lading through the rigid metal stamp imitates the effects of one-wheeled loading of the aircraft on airdrome pavements. Determining deflection plate coating at certain points of the loading center can obtain the necessary stiffness parameters on which further defined the bearing capacity of the airdrome site as a whole. By itself, the process is labor intensive and time consuming. Given the limitations of the break in flight operations airdrome needed to find ways to reduce the time for carrying out testing. One of them is the development of a stamp of a new design, the use of which reduces the work time to deploy additional hardware without changing the point on the measurement accuracy.

Abstract. The paper presents the results of tests for rutting and fatigue life of the stone-mastic asphalt concrete containing "Viatop 66" and "Armidon" additives. Rutting resistance was determined by means of Asphalt Pavement Analyzer (APA), Pavement Technology Inc., while fatigue life was determined using the "Dynapave 130" dynamic test system. To analyze the road surface stress-strain state and determine the durability margin, a numerical model was used (describes the processes of fatigue life). The model was developed basing on the finite element method (FEM) in the ANSYS software package.

Abstract. Impacts on a road design in its operation are various and multifactorial. One of the most important, but there aren't enough researched, is own dynamics of pavements arising at direct interaction of a pavement and mobile loading. Indicators of this process depend significantly on characteristics of a pavement. Change of thickness even of one road layer can increase or reduce considerably the total level of vibration of a pavement. Considering classical methods of calculation of vibration under a new corner it is possible to create algorithm of designing of road designs with the lowered level of their vibroloading. Analyzing classical methods of calculation of vibration it is possible to create algorithm of designing of pavements with the low level of their vibration loading .

Abstract. Over the past 15–20 years, combined or multimodal transport is very firmly established in customary practices of the companies-participants of foreign economic activity. No less common practice become multimodal transport documents – bills of lading. But the bill of lading is just a practical tool which allows to protect the commercial interests of both the seller and the buyer, and any tool necessary to use competently. In this material the authors try to show how useful this document in foreign practice firms, and the role played in the multimodal transport bill of lading in technology foreign trade settlements.

Abstract. Drivers behavior affects the chance of emergency incidents and vehicle cost of ownership. Driving manner should be managed in order to decrease the number of road accidents or minimize vehicle operating costs, special hardware and software may help. The article describes engineering solution which allows to calculate the vehicle drivers behavior using not only the speed and acceleration data but taking into account external conditions of vehicle location (road networks parameters and density, weather conditions etc.).
