STOCK OF OPERATION IS A COMPREHENSIVE INDICATOR OF VEHICLES RELIABILITY

Abstract.
Modern automobile transport does not use the methodology of probabilistic estimates of the time between failures of automobiles, which has been developed for decades, and manufacturers of motor vehicles do not include data on their reliability in the characteristics of automobiles. When distributing cars along routes at a motor transport enterprise, the margin of their vehicle performance before repair or maintenance is not calculated. The aim of this work is to substantiate automation methods for a comprehensive assessment of the reliability of a car and determine the residual resource before setting up for repair or maintenance. It is proposed to use for these purposes statistical estimates of the operating time parameter between statements for repair or maintenance and their change as the vehicle develops a resource. A new service for the vehicle’s on-board local area network has been developed for automatic control of the performance margin parameters. It is based on the joint automatic control of statements for repair or maintenance and calculation of the operating time of cars between them. The proposed control is designed to be implemented by means of the on-board local area network of the car and the information system for supporting the technical operation of cars at the auto-transport enterprise.

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the rationale for the continued use of an internal combustion engine for service braking of a car. Engine braking was widely used several decades ago, when there were no effective braking systems on cars with a manual transmission. Over time, the efficiency of braking systems has improved, so drivers have less frequent use of engine braking for service braking of the car. The article reveals the features of engine braking. The technology of engine braking in a car with an automatic and with a mechanical transmission is considered. The description and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of engine braking is given. The indicators of service braking of the car in urban conditions, as well as the dependences of the deceleration of the car in different gears and the power of mechanical engine losses on the speed in the process of service braking, the analysis of which made it possible to substantiate the feasibility of constant use of engine braking, are determined and analyzed. The calculation shows that the constant use of engine braking for service braking of the car allows you to get a socio-economic effect in the form of a reduction in accidents due to improved operational properties of the car and the cost of fuel and brake pads.

PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRIC BUSES

Abstract.
The article covers the problem of using buses on eclectic traction (electric buses) on public transport in big cities and agglomerations. Trends in development of production and electric buses in European countries are considered, examples of pilot projects in some European cities are given. Specific aspects of implementation of projects for electric buses with different charging schemes are analyzed: at night, in the park (depot), fast charging from charging stations on the urban infrastructure or during dynamic charging along the route. The price indicators of buses with different types of engines and charging concepts for electric buses are analyzed, as well as their capacity. The economics of the introduction of trolleybuses with automatic running are assessed in comparison with conventional buses, as well as the comparison of electric buses and diesel buses. Comprehensive studies of economic evaluation of the operation of electric buses in comparison with buses with other alternative fuels are analyzed. The results of the analysis of international practice of evaluation of the strategic approach to the life cycle of electric buses operation are given. The results of calculation of total cost of ownership of different types of buses are presented. It is found that electric buses generally have a lower life-cycle cost of ownership than buses using other fuels.

Abstract.
The article discusses the issues of assessing the reliability of road construction machines using diagnostic information. Data from remote diagnostics systems can be used as a source of information on the technical condition of machines. The main goal of creating remote diagnostic systems is to predict the reliability and safety of machine operation. The reliability of construction and road machines is largely determined by the performance indicators of hydraulic equipment, which is critical for reliability. The development and improvement of the failure detection and prevention system for modern building machines, especially with hydraulic systems, is necessary to increase operational reliability, reduce downtime and the cost of maintenance and repair. The use of the SDM remote diagnostics system provides the ability to prevent failures, plan the timing and scope of maintenance and repair, as well as predict the reliability of machines.

Abstract.
This article discusses temperature regimes of transportation of perishable products to subclasses, temperature norms of transportation for preserving the physico-chemical properties of cargo, with further sale of products with a minimum percentage of defective goods. It is proposed to improve the technologies of heat engineering and environmental requirements for the transportation of perishable products. The general formulas for calculating heat inflows along the entire perimeter of the semitrailer body with minimal heat loss when exposed to external factors are given. A rational recommendation is proposed for the optimal choice of a refrigeration unit for semi-trailers for certain temperature conditions for the transportation of perishable products, which will be beneficial to owners of commercial non-governmental transport organizations in terms of economic benefits. Examples of temperature sensors are given, the pros and cons of using each of them are described. Optimal ozone-safe freon fluids are considered for their positive qualities and shortcomings with the subsequent selection of the optimal one. The general characteristics of industrial refrigerants are given. The most relevant method for choosing chemical liquids for refrigeration units for the least impact of harmful fumes on the environment was also proposed, and positive and negative qualities of liquids on their work inside refrigeration units were identified.

RESEARCH OF CLIMATIC CONDITIONS IN INHABITED COMPARTMENTS OF SPECIAL WHEELED AND TRACKED VEHICLES AT HIGH TEMPERATURES

Abstract.
The article presents data obtained as a result of many field and bench climate tests, which show the actual picture of temperature and humidity in the cabins and inhabited compartments of special wheeled and tracked vehicles at high temperatures. The analysis of scientific research and experimental design work showed that the temperature and humidity characteristics of the cabins and habitable compartments of special wheeled and tracked vehicles have not been studied enough. On the one hand, there was a tendentious approach to measuring temperature and humidity, on the other hand, the requirements and recommendations of GOST standards for climatic conditions in cabins and inhabited compartments do not reflect the true picture of the real state of the driver and crew in high summer temperatures. The article presents research materials on bench climate tests that demonstrate the ambiguous influence of thermal insulation of cabins and inhabited compartments of special wheeled and tracked vehicles on the climatic conditions of the driver and crew in hot conditions. It is argued that the use of thermal insulation in many cases, on the contrary, can lead to an increase in temperature inside the cabin and the inhabited compartment. This work is part of a complex of scientific research devoted to the study of climatic conditions in the cabins and inhabited compartments of special wheeled and tracked vehicles, as constructive ways to improve the working conditions of the driver and crew in high temperatures.

Abstract.
The purpose of the article is to identify patterns that can be used to determine the current and predicted technical condition of escalator subsystem elements, which are simultaneously components of the information system of efficiency and safety increase of underground tunnel escalators operation. In his work, the author sets himself the main task of performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of passenger traffic. The object of research in this article is the underground tunnel escalator, and the subject is the passenger flow transported by the underground escalator facilities. The research methods used in the article are elements of mathematical statistics and regression analysis. Among the results of the work, it should be noted the obtained values of the specific passenger traffic for each station exit within each of the five lines and the ranking of each station exit by groups based on it. At the same time, mathematical dependencies (models) of the daily dynamics of the number of passengers who are simultaneously on escalators on working days and not working days have been established. The results obtained can be used as components of a comprehensive predictive model of the technical condition of the elements of escalator subsystems, which is an integral part of the modern approach to the system of maintenance and repair of escalators.

Abstract.
The article considers the issues of improving the engineering and psychological assessment of control algorithms for construction and road machines. The relevance of the issues under consideration is explained by the fact that with an increase in the degree of automation, there is a continuous increase in the information load on the drivers of construction and road ma-chines. This requires compatibility within the human-machine system. It is advisable to use an algorithmic description to describe the activities of operators. The estimation of the algorithm parameters is complicated by the uncertainty of the initial data. The purpose of the work is to improve the engineering and psychological assessment of the labor parameters of construction and road machine operators in conditions of uncertainty of the initial data. In the course of studies, based on the hierarchy analysis method, the main cause of operator errors was determined. On the basis of the algorithmic analysis, indicators of logical complexity and stereotype of machine control algorithms with various degrees of automation were determined. A model based on fuzzy logic was developed to estimate the parameters of algorithms in conditions of a high degree of uncertainty of the initial data. The model allows you to make an estimate with an error of not more than 10% and can be used both for existing equipment and for the design of promising construction and road ma-chines in order to ensure the required level of compatibility within the human-machine system.

METHODS OF JOINING PLASTIC PRODUCTS, MANUFACTURED USING ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGY

Abstract.
Additive technologies in the modern world are constantly developing and occupying ever new industries. Using a 3D printer with a small working area when printing products whose dimensions exceed the construction area, leads to the necessity of dividing the model into several smaller parts. The paper discusses several ways to connect the parts obtained such as: hot air welding, bonding with an organic solvent and 3D welding. The proposed method of 3D welding involves using the capabilities of a 3D printer to connect parts to each other. To determine the strength characteristics, parts of the samples were made, which in the process of research were connected by the three methods considered. The tests were carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 11262-2017 “Plastics. Tensile Testing". The results obtained allow us to conclude that the use of 3D welding as a method of connecting printed products allows you to get a connection with high strength characteristics. The paper discusses the technical aspects of the implementation of this technology, its advantages and disadvantages. The use of this technology in industries involved in the manufacture of overall products will expand the product range without changing the material base of production. A further area of research is to determine the optimal welding parameters that have a significant impact on obtaining a high-quality connection of parts.

Abstract.
The purpose of this article is to identify and explore the relationship between the stages of the life cycle of cars and the life cycle of a road. Analyze how various production or operational factors influence the formation of parks of cars for construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of highways. The article discusses the main issues relating to the formation of fleets of road vehicles in modern conditions. An important role in the formation of car parks is the renewal of parks. Attention is drawn to the fact that when updating the parks of road vehicles, not only the acquisition of new equipment occurs, but also the modernization of the vehicles in operation. This is largely due to the fact that it is very difficult to exhaust the resource of a road car. A large number of imported equipment makes the state dependent on foreign suppliers. The formation of parks in our country is mainly carried out by the method of analogy, when the main decisions are made from the accumulated experience. The article proposes to approach the issue of forming parks of road cars according to new principles. The new approach is based on the feedback method, when the main decisions are made on the basis of the functioning of an open system of information exchange between all the necessary components of subsystems. In this case, such a system can be: "life cycle of the road - car - life cycle of a car", when everything comes primarily from the life cycle of the road. In addition, the article provides important recommendations on the formation of parks of cars for the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of highways. Therefore, the article can be interesting and useful not only for scientists, but also for industrial workers who operate road vehicles.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE UNIFORMITY OF THE ANTI-ICE MATERIAL PARTICLES DISTRIBUTION ON THE COATING AT VARIOUS METHODS OF DELIVERY TO THE DISK

Abstract.
The article is devoted to an experimental study of the uniform distribution of particles of anti-icing material as an indicator of the quality of anti-icing treatment of road surfaces and elements of their arrangement. The subject of the study are methods of supplying anti-icing material from the tray part of the hopper to the surface of the distribution disk. Based on the experimental data obtained by the authors, an analysis is made of the influence of asymmetric (traditional) and symmetric (circular) methods of feeding the material on such characteristics of uniformity of distribution as the number of “trickles” of material on the disk, the number of free sectors of the disk that are not filled with material, and the presence of areas that are not processed by the material processing zones. At the same time, the influence of the casing, which is equipped with a machine disk for distributing of anti-icing materials, on the shape of the treatment zone and the process of forming "streams" of material is analyzed. The studies have been conducted for various speeds of the camshaft drive shaft. Comparison of the visual characteristics of the uniform distribution of the material with symmetric and asymmetric feeding methods allows us to conclude that compliance with the conditions for the uniform distribution of material particles over the treatment zone is guaranteed with a symmetric (circular) method of feeding the material to the surface of the distribution disk. The installation of a disk casing with this feeding method is not required. A symmetric method of supplying material is recommended as a constructive solution to ensure uniform distribution of material on the road surface.

Abstract.
Sand and gravel mixtures are a fairly common building material for layers of pavement. Of these, both additional and supporting layers of bases are arranged. At the same time, sand and gravel mixtures are not included in the list of building materials given in the methods for designing pavements, and, as a result, there are no design characteristics for checking pavements according to regulatory criteria. When sand and gravel mixtures are used in pavement layers, designers are forced to use the design characteristics of either sand or gravel when designing, sometimes focusing on the proportion of gravel particles in sand and gravel mixtures. This situation causes certain inconvenience in the development and coordination of projects. In addition, there are no recommendations on the field of application of sand and gravel mixtures with various property indicators in the layers of road pavements, the implementation of which will provide the standard service life of the road pavement. The article provides suggestions for the appointment of indicators of the properties of sand and gravel mixtures, as a component of regulatory regulation, for the design of pavements.

Abstract.
The article analyzes the mechanisms for reimbursement to public road transport enterprises of their carriage fees not received during the transportation of privileged categories of citizens established by regulatory acts of state authorities and applied in practice from the moment of direct payments. In case of granting beneficiaries an unlimited number of trips on a single social travel ticket, carriers are not able to receive compensation in accordance with the established tariffs. The procedure for providing free travel with a personalized accounting number of trips, including electronic social plastic cards, does not allow to determine how many trips are required for beneficiaries, and it is quite accurate to plan the amount of expenses for providing such benefits in the long term. A method is proposed for calculating undelivered carriage fees based on established tariffs, which provides for adequate compensation to carriers of undelivered freight charges. From world practice that is not applied in Russia, we can single out the procedure for compensation to enterprises for providing citizens with preferential travel in the form of a reduction in taxable profit. As a result of the study, the need for developing a methodology is substantiated, which allows using predictive analytics to determine the number of trips for public road transport using the data obtained using the electronic travel accounting system, plan the costs of providing benefits, and find new solutions for those in need citizens available services.

Abstract.
It is necessary to format a large number of documents in time of organizing international carriage of goods by road. The completion of full documents takes place in paper form and spends a fairly large amount of time. There is a need to switch to electronic document management, because digitalization is going on around the world. Another important task is to improve control over the movement of vehicles and the mode of operation of drivers. This article describes the search for solutions to these issues. We considered: online systems for monitoring the situation on public roads, online monitoring systems, the GLONASS and GPS system, electronic sealing of goods, electronic declaration of goods. The necessity of introducing electronic document management in international road transport of goods is justified. It is way to save time and resources. We analyzed the development and improvement of the device that allows you to control and take into account the work of the driver (tachograph). We made recommendations on the development of intelligent transport systems in the field of international road transport of goods in Russia. The main order of this action is to increase the competitiveness of domestic carriers.

The relevance of this article is associated with the widespread use of sun-protection devices in architecture projects, which are widely known all over the world, especially in countries with hot climate. However, there is still no single method for calculating and justifying the use of sun-protection measures, despite their variety of both static and kinetic solutions, which, due to the mechanization of lamellas, make it possible to achieve not only the transformation of the shape of a building or structure, but also to achieve significant results in the field microclimate of premises, lighting technology, energy saving and energy efficiency. The article presents a method for calculating the area of the shade to reduce heat input from solar radiation in the warm season, considers methods for calculating the heat transfer coefficient depending on weather conditions. Also, an assessment was made of the impact of sun protection devices on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Abstract. The article emphasizes the importance of improving the technical and organizational level and ensuring sustainable financial condition of the transport industry to ensure the competitiveness of Russia, the impact of transport services on the most important aspects of the state development, as well as the importance of accelerated introduction of digital technologies to improve the quality of transport services. The main problems of the transport industry, which in the first place include: insufficient investment in rolling stock and innovative projects, are revealed; the low level of financial and economic indicators of the transport industry; organizational, methodological and financial unavailability of many enterprises of the transport industry for the implementation of innovative projects, etc. Considered the possibility of resolving many of them using digital technologies in order to implement the adopted on this issue of legal acts, Programs and decrees of the President. The authors assess the main digital investment projects implemented in the transport industry in terms of their impact on the financial performance of enterprises. The importance of establishing a business risk management system based on the information base and using modern methods of data processing, forecasting, evaluation and analysis is emphasized. The possibilities and risks of using cryptocurrencies and technologies of the distributed register, allowing: to replace intermediaries between users of currencies; to reduce transaction costs; to provide simplicity, speed and safety of cash payments; to use online platforms for investment of temporarily free funds in financial market instruments, are revealed.

IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ORGANIZATION OF ROAD TRAFFIC BASED ON THE EXPRESS OF A METHOD FOR ASSESSING TRANSPORT DE-MAND

Abstract.
The article discusses traffic arrangements at road intersections providing transport options to particular urbanized zones referred to as transport rated areas. The methods of estimation their capacity are in the focus of this research. Its aim is to develop a method having relatively high predictive power and low labour input in order to forecast transport flows intensity and, therefore, to improve the quality of road traffic. The author defines the research problem as an attempt to estimate the correlation between the factual acreage of transport rated areas and an average or average weighted ability of trips generation. The study offers a technique to estimate the capacity of transport rated areas identifying transport demands and subsequent transport flows intensity of particular traffic zones. A specific feature of its application is empirical dependence between the territory use coefficient and the distance from the central business districts, which allows estimating transport demands with minimal labour input. The study gives examples of calculations for transport demand and transport flow intensity at the inletting intersection of one of Irkutsk districts. Then, it examines a statistical discrepancy between the actual number of trips and that number calculated by means of the method provided. The article also provides directions concerning the application of the timesaving method in question.
